I started a YouTube channel called And I'm OK in December 2012, when I was 17. To my surprise, it reached 1,000 subscribers within four months, which felt pretty big at the time. But the thought of potentially having to wear that mask and play that version of myself forever terrified me. So I slowly drifted away from the channel, abandoning it completely within about a year.
