Seeking Humanity confronts the evolving relationship between human and machine in the digital age, probing themes of memory, identity, and perception. Echoing the spirit of arte povera, this series juxtaposes the cold precision of AI-generated imagery with the tactile warmth of traditional materials. AI-generated foundations, based on Carol's photographic style, are subjected to extensive digital manipulation – layering, distortion, and reconfiguration. The resulting semi-abstract works, printed on silk and displayed in antique wooden frames, evoke a sense of fragmented memory and displaced identity, questioning the essence of human experience in a technologically mediated world.
